My Building of Inspiration

There are so many types of buildings around the world. All cultures have their unique style. What is your favorite?

My favorite building is the Palace of Versailles which is in France.

Isn't it beautiful? 

I've never been to France before but this French palace became my favorite building in life. I can't remember when exactly that I saw this palace but when every time I see this architecture, it moves me a lot.

 

During the Medieval Period, rich people tended to show how rich they are. That made people use millions of money only for showing themselves through clothes, accessories, riding and their home. And this palace was the King's place so they had to show off more than others. That made people during that time more complicated and delicate emotionally.

 

People nowadays build so many modern style buildings, but honestly, that is not my style which is simple looking. I more prefer Medieval Period style like gothic and barouche because I like complicated more than simple. 

 

 

Look at that color harmony and statues around the walls and rooves. Can you even imagine how intricate it is? It is all hand-made by great artists in Middle Age. You even can't imagine how detailed carved that gold roof decoration is.

It is also so big that over five thousand people can live in the Palace. As you can see, there are plenty of rooms. But that's only a building plate, and there is more than a building inside the Palace.

 

 

This is my favorite room, the Glaerie des Glaces which means the room of mirrors. It is the most important reception room which is known as the most beautiful room. The wedding ceremony of the royal family was held in this room. Well, I want to visit this place in the near future so bad.
